WHY THE CLINIC STEP EXISTS — Thai dental regulation reserves intraoral scanning to licensed dentists, and forbids us paying them for referrals. So you book the clinic directly — and we reimburse the fee against your receipt, up to ฿1,000. It is one price to you and a legal necessity for us.

The questions you'd actually ask.
You don't, in the end. You pay the clinic on the day and send us the receipt — we reimburse up to ฿1,000. The reason it works that way is legal, not commercial: Thailand's Dental Council forbids a company paying a dentist for sending patients. So the money can't flow from us to them. It can flow from us to you.
No — and we won't tell you otherwise. Mouthguards are well established for reducing dental and soft-tissue injury: chipped teeth, split lips, bitten tongues. The evidence linking mouthguard use to reduced concussion risk is not established, and several sports-medicine reviews find no reliable link. Anyone selling you a mouthguard on that basis is telling you something they can't back.
We check every scan before anything gets built. If it's short, unclear, or misses the gumline, we tell you within 24 hours and arrange a rescan at the same clinic — we cover that appointment too. Nothing gets manufactured off a scan we're not happy with.
We rebuild it from your stored scan and ship it, at our cost. If the second one is wrong too, you get your money back — including what you paid the clinic. We'd rather lose one sale than have a guard that moves in a scramble.
Tell us before you order. Active orthodontics, missing teeth and Class III underbites all need a different appliance — with an underbite the lower jaw leads, so a standard upper guard is the wrong tool. We turn those orders away and refund them rather than build something that won't protect you.
It's stored against an order number, not your name. Your partner clinic only ever sees the order code and which arch to scan — never your contact details. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we do. We keep it for one reason: so your next guard takes one click instead of another appointment.
Then order on day one of your trip, not day ten. If your dates are tight, message us before you pay and we'll tell you honestly whether it'll land — and if it won't, we'll ship it to your home address at our cost instead of taking your money and hoping.
